The Face of 2008 - Kelli's Daisy Designs

What a truimph! The second year has been even bigger and better. The event is the organised by Kelli Holt, owner and multi-award winning jewellery designer of Kelli's Daisy Designs. The competition has been designed to give local young women an opportunity to participate in some excellent workshops such as skincare, make up and hair styling, as well as photographic and catwalk workshops. It is a great experience to just participate, and the girls really seemed to improve over the week it was held.

Kelli's motto is "Beauty captures your attention, but personality captures your heart" and this is very much the theme of the event. The competition culminates with a Gala Grand Finale where the girls parade on a catwalk to an audience of hundreds.

The Winner, Grace Crichton, will now be the Face of Kelli's Daisy Designs for 2008, and appear in all advertising. Grace also wins a modelling photo portfolio from us. We are really excited about it, as Grace is intending to be an actor, and we are tossing around some dramatic ideas for the shoot - we'll keep you posted.

Congratulations Grace, and to all the finalists and entrants. I hope each entrant enjoyed the week as much as we did.

Congratulations to Lucy Watson, who we voted as Miss Photogenic. Lucy gets a portrait photo shoot as part of her prize.

The video looks fantastic, with a real range of appeal. From the belly dancing of the ice breaker workshop to the commercials that each girl took such time and energy in preparing. I have been totally impressed with all of the entrants attitudes and performers - Well Done!

Roni & Brad's Wedding 8th June 2008

What a fantastic day. In between the laughter I did Roni's make up, with the request to make the most of her beautiful green eyes. With great skin, and a gorgeous beauty mark Roni looked amazing. I also covered up a tatoo to finish off the perfect bridal look.

Roni and Brad were great to video. They were up for everything, and got some really great action shots. Warwick Street Chapel was a beautiful backdrop, and the weather turned out to be great. The photos and video were a pleasure to work on as Roni and Brad were so natural and vibrant.

A wonderful wedding to be a part of - Thanks Roni and Brad.
