Awesome Weekend of Photography

What a fantastic weekend – filled with amazing couples, their families and friends, and of course gorgeous images.

It was such a pleasure to capture Chantel & Jamie’s country wedding in the Lockyer Valley.  Her family’s property was a striking backdrop to some magnificent images.

Then Sunday was a joy to catch up with Megan & Darren, whose wedding I photographed back in 2009.  Since their wedding their family has grown by two, and it was a delight to meet Matisse and see how much Grayson had grown.  Not to mention meeting up with Lindsay, whose wedding Dave photographed back in 2009 too.

Absolutely full-on with lots happening, but a brilliant weekend, and I can’t wait to share the stunning images from both events.

Little Birdie Quilting Studio

It's such a pleasure to work with creative people, and recently I got to photograph just one of the amazing quilts made by Trudy, and machine quilted by Karen from Little Birdie Quilting Studio.  I think I have described that right. Karen did the flowers sewn into the design. Stunning work, so creatively done.

Brisbane's Premier Bridal Expo

We thoroughly enjoyed the most recent Ideal Bride Wedding Expo. A huge number of brides attended, and we managed to talk to many about their special day, and discuss our photography + video options.

The fashion parade, as always, was a feature, with gowns from JK Couture Designs, Hoe Boutique, Gossip Gowns and Annah Stretton, sleepwear from Frankie & Nicole and menswear from Always Habit and The Cloakroom.  The models and dancers from Division Model Management made the fashion an event not to be missed. Make up and hair by Unsurpassable Hair & Make up, and flowers by Stylised.

Thanks to everyone involved - a wonderful event to be a part of, and a pleasure to meet up with some many other great wedding suppliers.
